Wayside Trauma Intervention Services (TIS) supports and strengthens those who have experienced violence in their relationships, homes and community in Milford and 26 surrounding towns. Our experienced counselors and staff assist survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, children impacted by substances (CIS), and those impacted by homicide, along with their families through the process of healing. We strive to offer hope and empower survivors to lead full and successful lives. All services are confidential, free of charge and multilingual when available.
We also work to empower the community to understand sexual and domestic violence through community programming as well as outreach and education to schools, law enforcement, human service and mental health professionals, faith communities and other agencies. If your school or organization is looking for information regarding sexual or domestic violence, please email our Outreach and Education Coordinator, Sam Jean (she/her) at Samantha_jean@waysideyouth.org.

We host free community events and post information regularly on Instagram. Follow us Instagram @trauma.intervention_wayside.
The Clothesline Project raises awareness about sexual violence and breaking the silence in our communities. Survivors and those who have been impacted by violence decorate a shirt telling their stories. The shirts are then hung on a clothesline and displayed in honor of victims and to empower survivors. This project originated in Cape Cod, Mass. in 1990 and since then has spread around the world!
