One Anti-Racist Action You Can Take Today: Make A Plan To Vote In Every. Single. Election.

If there is one thing we have learned this year, it’s that every single vote counts. And then it is counted again. And then counted one more time to make sure. As the final results for the Georgia runoff election are coming in today, I can’t help but be moved by how many people have voted. Almost as many people who voted in the general election have come back out again to vote in the runoff. That doesn’t usually happen. In Georgia, this is due to the tremendous work of local organizers. It shows the importance of continuing to be engaged and active in all elections, not just the Presidential. Make a plan today of how you will know when statewide and local elections are being held in your town and make sure you vote in every single election. Put it in your calendar. Below are links to help you with statewide elections in Massachusetts and a link to find your local town election website. You can also sign up with a voting organization or political party. You may get a bazillion emails, but you will defiantly know when an election is. As you can see, a couple hundred votes can make history and in local elections literally one vote can make a difference.
