One Anti-Racist Action You Can Take Today: Eat Some Ice Cream

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a business model where companies are socially accountable to their customers, employees, the community, and other stakeholders. Often when CSR is discussed it is in the context of environmental sustainability. CSR can also be applicable to social equity. One example of this is a little ice cream company due north of Wayside, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. Yesterday I shared a few articles of anti-racist corporate statements made this past June. Among then was the corporate statement and 4 part action plan Ben & Jerry’s shared. Check out the links below for more information on additional items Ben & Jerry’s are doing (including an anti-racist podcast!). Down below is a video that further explains CSR. By choosing to support companies that take their CSR seriously, you can encourage more companies to do so.
