In a year where funding has been reduced from every source and we have responded with significant reductions in expenses, private contributions are more important than ever. 2009 turned out to be an extraordinary year for this country as we have been faced with overwhelming economic uncertainty.  None of us has come out of this untouched.  Wayside has had its share of ups and downs - and so has the community we serve.

When personal finances are strained, families living with emotional and behavioral issues are pushed to the breaking point.  Wayside’s programs are more important than ever to help children and families during this unprecedented time of uncertainty and job losses.  We’ve seen a surge of need for our services while at the same time budgets have been cut.
